Strategy Session

Before we take you through your first workout or you attend class, we want to take the time to find out what you specifically need by performing your Bodysmith Strategy Session. This gives us the information that we will use to design your customized program to help you achieve your individual goals.

During your Bodysmith Strategy Session, we will learn about your health history, any past injuries, your training history and your specific goals. The next step will be to conduct your assessment.

the Bodysmith Blueprint

During your first appointment, we will conduct our scientific assessment, the Bodysmith Blueprint. Your safety is a top priority to us, and the Blueprint is the foundation of your individualized program. The information we gather will allow us to determine if there are any special considerations or limitations that may influence our decisions when designing your exercise program.

Customized Training

Customized training is the pinnacle of personal training. Our expert Program Design Team creates a workout designed specifically for you based on your health history, assessment, and goals. As you progress, your program will change to keep you challenged. Set your appointments to workout with a coach as you split the cost of the session with other Bodysmith members.

Team Training

If you want personalized training without the customized approach, then our Team Training is for you. Five 45-minute workout formats change monthly so you never get bored. Our coaches provide direction and modifications, and nearly everyone can join in. You set appointments for your workouts to control your schedule. The Bodysmith’s Team Training is a complete fitness program designed to get you results.

Workout Descriptions

Strength

Our Strength classes are a comprehensive resistance training program. These types of workouts are our #1 priority to burn calories and build lean muscle to boost your metabolism for the long run. Everyone goes at their own pace, but each week push yourself to lift a little more than you did the week before. An emphasis on functional movements and posture fortifies your body and prevents injury.
The programs change every month to prevent plateauing. If you are one of our Customized Members, you should focus on the strength training program that was designed specifically for you by our program design team. Strength classes were designed to give our Team Training Members the benefits of a full body strength program.

HIIT

Unlike most gyms, you won’t find row after row of boring cardio machines at the Bodysmith. We use a much more effective (and a lot more fun) way to do “cardio.” High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is our version of cardio. They are fun, fast-paced workouts using tools like kettlebells, medicine balls, TRX’s, battling ropes and sandbags.
This workout is a great way to shake things up, give you full-body training, burn a ton of calories, increase your cardiovascular fitness and accelerate your metabolism. Research has shown this type of training to be the most effective form of cardio for fat loss. In addition to your 2-3 Strength workouts, add a HIIT workout 1-2 times a week.
