If you think eating healthy and staying fit might require too many sacrifices of the things you love, think again. Take a look at Heather and you’ll see that you can pretty much have it all.
Heather is a registered dietician, so she knows the “ins and outs” of a healthy diet. But would it surprise you to find out that she is also a wine enthusiast? Loves to learn how to cook new foods? And lists baking as one of her hobbies? That doesn’t sound like sacrifice, does it?
And as the mother of two boys who play sports, in a household with two dogs, she is still able to find time to work out, and even share her love of fitness with others. What’s it take to make all of this happen? Heather will tell you that it’s the joy she gets from helping others progress along their fitness journey that makes it all possible.
“I enjoy being around lots of different people and get really excited when I see them progressing in their fitness and getting healthier and happier. It’s incredibly motivating to me personally,” she says.
Heather has been married to John for 18 years, and they love to watch their boys play sports, watch movies, fish and, when they can find the time, travel together. Oh yes, and she even likes to grow her own grapes and make wine in any time left over. 😉
